Default Fan shroud dimensions?

I have never had a fan shroud on my 66. I'd like to buy one from PY but I'm not sure if it will fit properly - I have a flexalite 18" fan and ebay alum radiator. The center of the fan sits 9 inches from the top and 11 inches from the bottom of the radiator. The fan blade stops right at the top of my radiator.

Will it work or should I fab my own?

Buy thier shroud and when you recieve it measure the diameter of the hole. then choose a correct fan that is about .5 inches smaller in diameter. choos a hydrostatic fan clutch that puts the fan centered in the middle of the opening. not too far inside the opening and not to far outside the opening. Then select a fan from GM's many choices and install it using grade 8 hardware.

I have found that the best fans come frommmid 70's chevy trucks. close in DIA and HD and many fan blades.

That flex-O-Lite fan only flexed open your wallet and lightened it
