Please no comparisons to Steve's survivor 73. Lucy is a survivor but not in the same terms as Steve's. She is a survivor because she survived me over the last 40 years. History lesson is coming. Plus I just love Survivor. Can't beat a good rendition of Eye of the Tiger.

Your 40 years with the same car got me thinking about how many vehicles I've gone through in the same amount of time. I just made a list; I'm at 43 cars/trucks/motorcycles since 1975 (I would have thought it was more). On another note, I've been married to the same woman since 1980 (my high school sweetheart), so I've only had one wife.

I know its not a F-body, but my 1966 GTO has been with me 32 years. Before my wife (then fiancé), marriage, and three children....

Wow I never thought about it til now.

Awesome car, Craig. It was very fortunate to have acquired you as its owner

Man I knew you had the car a long time, but not 40 years long! The car is very lucky that you obtained it, who knows what kind of shape it would be in with a different owner.

I'm going on 5 years myself with my mutt of a 71.

yep, that car was very fortunate to not get winter driven to death or overly abused (I'm sure even Craig abused it a little in it's day) thru the years to survive in such incredible shape at 46 years old now. Congrats to you Craig on taking such good care of it and not ever parting with it!
