'01 S-10 floor vent help...anyone have service manual?
My S-10 won't switch to floor heat now. It stays on defrost regardless of heat/floor position. It will switch to vents okay, but will only be on in defrost now. I switched out the controller and now I have it apart, I am trying to get inside to where the vent door would be. My 1993 Sonoma did this very same thing and it was a broken plastic piece to the vent door. I could barely make access from the front on that one, but I don't see any access to this one.
Figures...You'd think from '93 to '01 they would have improved the part...guess not. POS GM! No wonder they are out of business. Anyone have a service manual or have an idea how to get to the door vent underneath?
