My oldest son's first vehicle was a 87 K5, black with gray interior. It had limited slip rear, quad shocks on front, etc.
I bought it from the original owner, a woman who moved to NC from TX. I don't think it had ever been off-road in it's life. The bottom side was spotless. That lasted for one day after I put the tag on it. I came home from work to find a big pile of dripping mud with a black top. Within two weeks he broke the rear end. It was fun for about a year. Yep - and in the "funny craigslist ads" thread, we were laughing at the some prose selling a Jeep maybe 3 weeks ago.
