If a car has no title and is not in the DMV system, is it best to bond title the car, or just sell it with a bill of sale and include all the paperwork and history for the next owner? I have a 64 GTO that was purchased as a parts car and the original vin and plates are not located in CA dmv. I have the three previous owners paperwork history, but none of them had it registered in the last 25 years! Also somwe were down the road, CA dmv changed the vin to a control number adding another twist to this project. Original pink slip has vin and plates that match up correct with the car. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.
