hey guys, been lookin all over ...ebay,ultimate gto site etc....cant find any clear pics of weather or not cid badge on rocker"s are there or not? was this ID factory on 70 gto? also noticed a lot of black PMD center caps on rally 2"s, I thought red was correct?

thought I was wrong once.......but I was mistakin

70 GTO's did not have the emblems on the rocker mouldings, LeMans do though. And i think the center cap thing was changed in 70 so both are correct for 70, I'm not 100% certain on this but im pretty sure Ive read it here before.

early 70 gto`s had red center`s late 70 ones had the black

great!!! that will save me a fifty spot on this resto I have the red centers....kinda like the black better though

You've got it backwards, Forrest. The black centers were a carryover from '69 models. Changed late in the calendar year of 1969 to the red centers.

going to stick with the red s I have for now, but you gotta like them hurst caps.....team them with a hurst equipped logo on deck lid,that will let them know you mean business!
