1964 Pontiac Lemans - Correct Rim Color ?
Hello.
I have a set of original Pontiac rims for my 64. I recently purchased the PMD poverty caps as well. Looking to get red line Coker tires. My car is saddle bronze. The rims need sandblasting and painting. What is the correct original color spec for the rims. Was told its darker than the org saddle bronze on the car. I know the paint codes for saddle bronze on the car is Ditzler 22269 or Sherwin Williams 8030. Hopefully thats correct. Any input on the rim color would be much appreciated. Thank you! |

I believe that a Saddle Bronze car left the factory with matching wheels - same color. Saddle bronze is one of the few colors that had matching wheels colors. Gulfstream Aqua and Pinehurst Green are a couple of the other colors that did that.
