I hear ya. The fronts are pretty narrow. Its a small tire for sure. Wouldn't work with the 245 road tires I run with.

I get the car up level on some tall jacks stands under front frame and rear axle. I do this in two passes, as the tall stands are 22.5" high rather than the 16" of the stubby stands. Then I raise the car by the front cross member with a 3 ton floor jack and a 4x4. In back, a 2 ton bottle jack sitting on a 6x6. I start with the front and then the back. I do this until there is enough room to slide the cribs in.
