1970 Correct Fuel Pump
Found out the other day that my fuel pump (not sure if its the original one) is leaking (from the top it looks like) on my standard 70 Formula 400 auto.
What is the correct replacement fuel pump and where's the best place to buy one? If there is already a link to this very topic, please send it my way. Thanks. Also, can these fuel pumps be rebuilt? Was thinking if this one is the original, maybe I can have it rebuilt or rebuild it myself. Thanks for any information.

I'm linking you to the last page of an ongoing discussion;
these were a long time unavailable, but just recently started being made available. https://forums.maxperformanceinc.com...=826816&page=6 These can be rebuilt, but they are quite expesive. You will find that thread will help you to identify if yours is the original/correct one for your car.

Be SURE you get one made for alcohol in the fuel. I have taken a shower twice with my car on the lift and leaking as it idled , all in the name of originality.
