Nicely done. Can I trouble you for a pic of where your shoulder belts mount? New headliner and want to be sure.

It doesn't bother me enough to want to diagnose it, I kind of see it as part of the character of the car.

From the passenger side...

This post has measurements for the shoulder belt anchors: http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...2&postcount=20

Quote:
If you start from the vertical line of back edge of the 1/4 window chrome vertical molding and go back 3” you’ll find the forward belt anchor bolt is 2” above the top edge of the rubber molding that hides the edge of the headliner. To find the rear bolt align the belt retainer parallel to that rubber molding (not horizontal to the ground)

The coat hanger is 4 7/8” back from the rear boltand also 2” up from the edge of that rubber molding.

The forward seat belt clip (69) is 5” back from the rear most edge of the pillar post pad and 3/4” above the rubber molding. The second seat belt clip is 7 7/8” back from the first (front screw to front screw)

Did you install that headliner yourself?

I did. It's not 100% perfect, but it's generally looks pretty good to most folks and it's a lot better than my first attempt 25 years ago.

Looks very nice to me .... the factory didn't do it perfect every time either. I've heard it's a real PITA

Yeah, it's definitely a PITA. I'd rather do the seat upholstery over. I did it with the glass out of the car which helped. Kept the original sunvisors since Wangers signed one of them.

You did a great job on everything involved. I skipped doing my headliner and it will probably not get done in my lifetime at this point. It's original and was in perfect condition until I tried to weld it!
Now it has a 2" hole melted into it over the rear passenger side seat. I should have replaced it while I had the glass out.

Oh man, that sucks. I've learned my lesson the hard way like that a bunch of times.

Put the finishing touches on the interior with a new set of repro floor mats. Years ago I only bought the front ones. They were in ok shape, but I wanted rear mats and they only sell them as a 4 piece set now so I got all new ones. For future reference, here's how to cut down the rear mats so they fit bucket seats in an A-Body. Just noticed a footprint on the mat in the pic - that could be my daughter's LOL.
