Default Kick panel insulation

Can someone tell me how the Ames bought insulation gets mounted to the non air kick vents? Don’t know if they get glued to the panel or gets inserted in the opening.
Thanks

I glued mine to the panel on a 70
I used brush-able Weldwood cement

Default Kick panel

Thank you the ones I bought don’t seem to line up with the panels; looks like I have to trim and make them fit. I thought they were die cut to fit right in.
