Default Trunk filler panel screws

Random question....did any of the very early cars use screws on all of the trunk filler panel mounting flats? These are commonly seen undrilled but still exist.

Only three screws on the trunk side and 3 screws under the back glass trim.

Less screws, less leaks. I always put a bit of RTV on the 3 that are there. I have access to 3 1970 shells, and all have just 3. One is a early car
