20/20
I will dig out the Landspeeder and throw in a Cloudcar...I have many Formulabruce, but one of my regrets is tossing my original leafsprings,on top of my original fenders in 1990...I actually did not really need new ones and had I kept them I could have atleast given them to you!!...and had I saved the fenders I could have a nice vacation with the cash...

Looking at pic below, the "new one" ( far left) is actually a GM for another application. The rubbers, what are those? The gm ones are wrong and are 1 1/8th and dont fit the 1-1/4 bar and are too tall.. I ordered some 1LE ( 3rd gen) bushings but who knows what they even look like. thoughts?

repop bracket & bushing
the far left bracket is from P.Y. and is a repop for the original 1 1/4" front sway bar and is listed in the catalog, the bracket to the right is my original...in the early 90's I upgraded to urethane which is better...now with this correct business I am doing my best to compromise!...typical though, some how I lost one of the originals during the lost years...I believe NJSTEVE said that the original style bracket is also used on other GM products...but I could not find one...however in some ways this repop front bracket is better than O.E.M. as it has sides which secure the repop bushing...if you look at the repop bushing you can see how well the bracket will accept them...AMES sells them in the exact same design as you see here (the 1 1/4'' bushing) and possibly P.Y. lists them too, however these particular ones are from The Parts Place and they seem to be a blacker nicer reproduction...I sent my AMES back as they had a white flaky release film and were more light black...anyway I prefer the P.Y. repop bracket and everything, both front and back fits perfect so I am calling it a day with those parts!!..I definitely use reproduction items but it is a slippery slope!!!!...unless of course someone has atleast one of those original style brackets?!!..but really, even my one original bracket is rusty underneath and it will never be brand new again, so I would recommend this set up I have...especially if someone needs everything...the rear brackets are a 100% duplicate reproduction, but I could only find my 7/8 '' bushings on EBAY at a Corvette site

The PY bracket/bushing holder is no reproduction. Its a GM part for a truck/car. ( not ours) That said, it is NOT the 1995 3/4 ton diesel suburban bracket, THAT is discontinued. ( Idea on this from NJ Steve). The '95 'Burban bushings are available and are 1-1/8th, and although not big enough, are a bit Tall, and do have the typical powder on the rubber. Of note, they DO have the correct "nub" on the bottom that fits in the "indent" in our subframes. I feel its a bit long/ tall? , even if I could find a way to make the hole bigger in a uniform fashion. See pics.

Question for ya, Glenn. What welting are you using on your spoilers? Is that NOS stuff? I've heard Danko and Ames sells some that's pretty close to original.

spoliler welting
the oem front spoiler and front airdams have the GM original..and I am just missing for one air dam...I see there is a new welting with a pull off tape so there is adhesive on the welting...fortunately mine have good fit but yes I need one piece of welting and need to match it...the darker air dams are GM nos made in Mexico and the white one I salvaged from my 76 T/A as it was brand new...but the moulded white welting turned funky!!

Tell me more about the welting with the pull off tape. Who sells that one? Any part numbers?
