Jim, have a line on a reasonable priced new in the box Auburn carrier, it's a low ratio, 3.36-4.33, shoot me a text if that's what you are looking for.

I have a mostly complete rear end, missing one axle and one backing plate and breaks. Looks to be factory posi 2.73 gear. I’m located in central IL 61546

2.56 and 2.78 would be considered first series I suppose. The 2 series carrier supports 2.93, 3.08 and 3.23 gears. Finally the 3 series carrier works with 3.36 and higher numerical gear sets.

No longer needed, I’m going with an 8.5 vs the 8.2
