I've been going since it's been Tri-Power Sunday! One day event and I believe it was in September. And it still rained!

This could be my last year. We used to drive out change rear tires and race, then do the switch and drive home. Stayed at the Homestead Inn and dined at the inn. Seen alot of changes but throughout the years always the best operated track.

I am going to try my darndest to make it this year! I have lived 14 miles from the track for 15 years now & every year I end up on the road & miss it. Last year was the worst because I left for Oregon with a customers car in the trailer on Saturday morning & drove right by the track to get to the interstate, seeing everybody!

I have been thrashing on my GP this week, but backordered parts are a problem. If it is not done, I will drive the 56 just so I can come!

We plan on coming up this year, 2017 was the last time we made it up there. Plan on driving our newest acquisition, a 1960 Safari. We picked it up about two weeks ago, here's before and after pics. Neither of us were feeling the surf wagon vibe so it all had to go. Hopefully we'll have a different set of wheels on it and a wee bit lower profile by then.

Nice looking wagon. I have to agree with you on the surf stuff. At least they could have painted a decent logo. My cousin is moving to FLA. She bought an early 60's chevy pickup just because. Its a rat rod with some silly alligator farm logo, complete with an address that doesn't exist and a phone number that would not exist in 1963. And lots of applied 'patina'. She thinks its all original parked when it last ran in the 60's. I didn't have the heart to tell her otherwise, figure if that's what she likes, that's what its all about.

Been to everyone. Been through rain some years and almost heat stroke others. Would not miss it!
Some years racing, some years car show, some years swap meet.
This year will be the swap meet if anyone wants to stop and say hi

(close to timing lights on main road by the motor homes. Red Vibe, yellow Pikachu Hat )

We've been to every single one so far, and good Lord willing, we'll be there this year!
