I could (and will, when I get out to shop later) give you that off of 2 different cars. But, as far as aligning things I would not let that dimension dictate anything. As long as the door is aligned at the back of the jamb, along the rocker and the gap at the fender is good, that last bit should not make much difference. FWIW, yours doesn't look too bad. That is typically a pretty wide gap. Also, do you have the décor trim package? That will take up a bit of slack as well.

Hi TAKerry
Not going to let the measurement dictate any aligning, just wanted a rough idea of what some are. The picture I posted isn't my car. I am in the process repairing the plates that the door hinges bolt to at the moment, threads are stripped. Once I have that done it is then, hopefully rehanging my doors and aligning them correctly, as they were terrible haha Thanks again, I appreciate it Mick |

Eyeballing the one we have here I'll say 3/8" to 7/16" will put you close.

Passenger side pillar longer than driver side usually so DS gap larger

I was starting to think something was seriously wrong with my car as the gaps were not going to be the same. Is there any reason why they made them longer Thanks Mick |

Probably 2 different people building the die. Same as the front fender lip horizontal area one side wider than the other

The gap on my fully restored 77 is between 5/8 and 3/4. The gap on my 79 which im currently restoring is in the 1/2 - 5/8 range (door is set and aligned pretty good at this point).
