Olivia Newton John’s Cancer has come back. She’s had 3 bouts with this horrible disease, and now has a tumor inside, and bone cancer. stage 4 breast cancer again. An interview she did she said she will not go through treatments this time around. She will simply live what days she has left. Very sad news, that poor Woman has been through hell. I was and am a BIG Olivia fan. my thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.....

I just don’t get it. Good people suffer these horrible painful diseases, while complete scumbags that prey on others run the streets healthy and pain free. I just will never understand why?

God bless her. At times, chemo and other treatments can just be too much to endure. She has made it this far, hopefully the her remaining days will be comfortable for her.

Seems to me more resources and priorities need to be shifted around to find better treatments for this disease.

Even sadder is that there is a very promising cure for cancer that should be in clinical trials right now, but is being held up by politics. It is a virus that affects cancer cells , causing them to be recognized and eradicated by our own immune system. Lab animals have successfully been cured.

I absolutely agree with you FiredUp I have thought that VERY SAME thought probably a thousand times over since my machine shop mentor and very good friend was found to be full of cancer, he was told 6 months.... 6 weeks later he was gone, and the area I live in I see the scumbags of which you speak healthy as a horse..... I know life isn't fair but Dang.
I am also an Olivia fan just could never decide if I liked her better in Grease or Xanadu

I believe she can still be healed without medicene, or Dr's!!! Doesn't look good from our opint of view!!! Modern medicine is a gift from the Lord, as MA can mightily attest to, and myself also (not cancer though...).

John 9:3 says a person can be healed to show glory to the Lord. Our prayers and faith are THAT answer!!! It all depends upon what the Lord wants...Being a person of faith helps......alot.
Lord, I pray for Olivia to be HEALED, completely, and mightily, to show the world, again, what you ARE!!!
AMEN!!!

Best of luck to the girl of my dreams. I've had 3 rounds with cancer and have my oncology checkup tomorrow.

Was at my Oncologist Friday. Lab work was all good news. Kidney function not so much. Procratenine levels not great. it’s always something.

Mike told me he heard in an interview Olivia said she fought the good fight and now in her 70’s she is done fighting, and will allow her body to allow her to live out her time left. She does not want to go through treatment any longer.

Again I will never understand how the good and innocent are stricken with horrible illnesses, while bad bad people rarely do.

I appreciate the thoughts.

But I feel I am one of the luckiest guys in the world already. Three cancer surgeries in the last 13 years, but I'm still upright and vertical. My golf game is better now than it was before the emergency lung surgery in September of '06 that resulted in the early detection of my 1st bout with cancer. The fact that I kept up with my oncology checkups led to the early detection of my 2015 and 2017 surgeries.

Life is really pretty good. But I really would prefer not to go through another surgery....

Same here. I think a lot of people did. Very sad for her. lost a few in my family to cancer, including my mom and grandfather.

She's been fighting cancer for a long time. At some point you just don't want to fight anymore and live your life without being required to be by a hospital for treatment. She has chosen to do it on her terms. God bless her and her family.

I Honestly Love You will have me teary eyed these days.

Not one of my favorite songs, but Have You Never Been Mellow was on the radio all the time when I was getting my driving time in for driver's ed. Thankfully, it doesn't get much airplay anymore so on the rare occasion I do hear it, it's a pleasant flashback.

Good to hear the cancer is under control. I go back to my thyroid specialist September 13 to set a date for my last surgery. If the left side of the thyroid had no evidence of cancer, no six weeks of I-131 therapy. If there is, it will be six weeks of sleeping in a different room from my wife and the dogs due to my being radioactive.
