Default Putting spoiler on 72 with metal pan, problems

Putting, nos spoiler on 72 metal pan. The ends bolt up good, middle is down a good inch. Can this be pulled up with bolts, without harming spoiler,? I thought maybe shim pull a little then leave set, then remove more shim till tight.Any experience out there with this problem? Thanks.

Pan? you mean boot? or trunk lid? Is this "NOS" part a aftermarket NOS part?
nIs the trunk seal in place ( dry fit will usully work.) I picture would be great.
