What is it your trying to find out, or figure out or do with whatever info you collect on the bottom end of the V motor here?

Is this a RAV block you have with the parallel reinforcement rib running along the pan rail?

Here are a couple of photos I had from years ago. Sorry there are no weights for the rods in the last photos.

Yep, those are the rods made in Michigan based on the Ford "A-Beam" design for the RA-V engines. 7.080" long.
The Carrillo Rods were a much better rod and lighter too. I have a couple of sets of those Carrillo Rods, as well as a set for a 11" Tall Deck Pontiac IA-2 Block. Believe that set is 7.230-7.240" in length. Tom V.

I have heard that in the past too Tom. That Mr Rod was involved.
Know where Mr Rod was supposed to be located, Tom? Tom V.

That would really help with my very limited knowledge of that company.
I do agree that they made the RA-V rods. Tom V.
