Yep those fall right in line with the gear multiplication of the 2.20 x 3.55's I mentioned that were also available and stating that was about all GM would recommend in one of my previous posts, however the combo wasn't recommended and seldom sold. I have one here, it sucks, lol.

On the extreme of no torque, 2.52's and 3.07 gears were also offered in 1969 on the Z28 order sheet. Can you imagine a little high strung 302 with that? Not the best scenario, and as a result research has indicated that about 1 in every 5,000 built even bothered to check that off. So out of 20,302 69 Z's built, it's estimated 4-5 got the 3.07 gear.

Just not a popular deal.

We did 3.55's in my buddies built 461. Runs excellent! 11.56 at 115 mph. Tires were 28".

I have a M21 with 3.31, Seems OK for now. Would love to put in a M22Z.
Didn't 454 LS5 Chevelles come with a 3.31 gear and a M21/M22?
