Default Late model bird ?

I'd guess around an '02 Model, Ram Air Trans Am, this car was red with a dk graphite interior.

My question is regarding some emblems on the car. They read NASCAR EDITION Trans Am. There was one on each front fender and also one on the tailpanel between the lights.

Is this a factory deal or something somone cooked up and stuck on it?

Just curious as I had never seen one and I don't keep up on these cars.

Mike

I've never heard of it so I'm guessing someone just stuck some emblems on it. Here's a good website/forum to visit for more research/info: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/index.php

And here's a nice list of models offered throughout the years: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/pontia...t-history.html

I remember them as an option from the factory.Mostly just emblems and maybe some trim/stripes.When I worked at the dealership we had a couple on the lot. It was kinda like the olympic edition Grand Ams they had.
