Someone up north, was making a hip 1/4 for the '69's & '70 GrandPrixs but it is really not that good a piece. I examined a pair at Spring Carlise about 4 years ago, right after I bought my '69 HO car. For a panel, ended up cutting a 1/4 off a partscar that was hammered in the drivers side A-pillar area.

J.C Whittney indicates in their catalog that they have patch panels for the 70 GP for $99 each have not seen them and do not know if they really have them.

Yes, JC Whitney does have them but the fit is on the poor side as you can imagine. They are certainly worth using if your panel is totally gone but the curvature of the wheel openings is not quite correct. I have not used them but a friend has. His bodyman was able to use the panel with a little "tweaking". Any capable bodyman should be able to use them while expecting to do some work.

Yes, I agree with Mike. We need some quality GP parts (69 - 72).

On ebay there is someone selling 1/4 panels under the name of classicparts4u currently.
Any one know anything about the quality of these panels?

Thanks for the replies!Ive been in the garage for awhile.are the 1970 gp body panels same as the 1969? I found a 70 gp car and just wanted to make sure the quarters, fenders, deck lid were the same! Thanks again!

Quarters, fenders and deck lid are the same except for various trim holes that would need to be filled or drilled.

i don't know what your views are on fiberglass, but i know vfn makes glass hoods for 69/70's, and glasstek has them for the 71/72, but i don't know if they have fenders. im going to be buying a glasstek hood for mine, but i need a better running motor to cover first... hahaha

BTW...nice avatar GPMODELJ70...
