When that thing hits a 1/4 tank I'm gonna start looking for a gas station.... LOL

The A/C blows ice cubes.... and its still R-12 . I'm gonna get the radiator recored, 160 thermostat, replace any old hoses and a new heavy duty fan clutch... that should keep it nice and cool on the 100 degree days we see a lot of here in the summer.

This car looks even better in person. You didn't mention the 428 Joe. Keeping secrets?

Reminds me of a '69 SSJ I believe it was that was given to me by a guy that had to get them out due to the county being on his back back in about 1991. Went to pick it up and his brother said that he had sent it to the wrecking yard already. It was black on black, 428 4spd, missing engine and trans, but the interior didn't have a single tear in it, had a minor dent in the driver's door, and a minor dent in the trunk lid, otherwise perfect body.

I had a '67 Tempest 4dr driver that would run out at about an 1/8 tank intermittantly - years later when I parted it out, I found a short section of petrified garden hose in the tank. I guessing it was rolling around in there keeping the float from going all the way down.

The garden hose was obviously a piece that broke off when someone tried to siphon gas out of it at some point in it's life.

'67 Conv is here at the shop with the front sheetmetal off of it. It's a back mburner project for one of my guys when there's no customer cars. Pulling the fresh 428 out of it for my coupe, and going back in with something milder that will work better with the 700R4 that's in the car. The car got hit in the front end back in '02 and has been sitting since then. This time around it's going to get cloned into a GTO

The '64 Conv is still on the road, but needs paint to finish it. Not going to finish it until the coupe is running.
