Default FS: 1980 Turbo Trans Am - $1,500

Selling my 1980 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am.... 90Kish miles, automatic, turbo 4.9 litre v8 motor (301 CID)... Interior was dark blue, NOT a pace car. I bought it right after HS and it's been a project since that I've lost interest in. Car does not run, but the title is clean, never in an accident.

Motor - Pontiac Turbo 4.9, intake, turbo, carb, and valve covers are missing. After seeing a handful of people do LSx swaps, I really wanted to do that and started parting the motor 2 or 3 years ago.

Interior - Saw a guy doing a 4th Gen interior swap, started parting out the interior... No seats, No carpet... Dash cracked, console good for a driver.

Body - Solid, straight, only areas of rust are on passenger fender and passenger door.

If your going to restore it, awesome, it's already PHS documented, but if your going to modify it that probably wont matter. Just want to see it back on the road in any form, I love these cars, just don't have the motivation for this one anymore.

Sure:
The two rust spots that are concerning, anything else on the car is just surface rust.

Pass fender, lower left corner

Right behind the trim on the pass door.

The hood... the kid who had it before me used a knife to chip the bird off... guess it was peelin.

front frame rails

Pass side floor pan, just surface rust... Heater core was shot and leaking when I got it, but has been replaced.

And whats left of that motor.... Any questions or additional pics needed, let me know.

fyi, random bolts, brackets, and heat shields just went up on ebay earlier... Didn't take anything off the car since the pics were taken, they were all in my basement.

Default Other Parts Needed

I am restoring an 81 Turbo right now. Would you consider selling the hood, radiator shroud and air duct elbow?

Yea that's everything I had sitting in my basement. I doubt whoever buys it will want to restore that motor, so I doubt they'll want the bolts/brackets/heat shields and all. I know I'll get more money parting it, but I can't let a perfect body go to waste like that.

Man, someone needs to put an interior and a 400 in it and do some serious ground pounding. That thing is super solid. Too bad you are so far away. I've got everything that car needs in my shop lol.

For a rust belt car it's way better than the "rust free carolina" cars that are supposedly around here. Looked at 2 today. One was bad, one was ok. That one is 10x's the cars I saw today.
