Default 1973 Brewster Green Trans Am

I have decided to sell my 1973 Brewster Green Trans Am. It is disassembled. The engine was rebuilt and 90 percent of the body work was done. The car comes with thousands of dollars of parts with it. The saddle deluxe seats cost over $2,000 alone. They were custom made from the original material. I have the ducumentation with the car. It is brewster green T/A with a deluxe saddle interior. It has the original 3.42 rear end, automatic with air conditioning, Power steering, power brakes. The car had a new trunk pan installed, door skins and lower rear quarters put on it. The frame is in good condion except for a small hole in the rear frame rail. The engine is original except for the block which came out of another 73 Trans am. It is correct for the car. The car has restored honeycomb wheels on it, with new BF Goodrich tires on it. New stainless steel brake lines and the underside has been painted the car color. There are too many new parts to list. This is a big money car, if restored properly. If interested PM me to discuss further.

I will see what I can do about some pictures. The car is disasembled. It does have the doors on it and engine mounted. I have boxes of new parts for it, many NOS. PHS documentation also. It is interesting that this car originally did not come with the large bird on the hood but instead had the small bird on the nose. I have not seen too many A/C cars come stock with a 3.42 rear in it either.

Default 73 Axle.

In 73 standard axle was a 3.08 on Non SD TA's. You could special order performance axle, does your PHS document a performance axle?

Yes it does have a performance axle. I am asking $20,000 and I have easily seen these cars sold in the 40 to 50k price range. How many Brewster Green T/A still exist. For someone who knows how to restore this car, it would be easy. The engine was rebuilt with performance parts internally, the body work is 90 percent done and the seats are the exact replica of a saddle interior not the garbage repo seat covers that do not come close to the originals. The honeycomb wheels were redone and the car has all new BF Goodrich tires on it. There are boxes of new parts and nos parts to complete the car which are worth thousands of dollars. Even the rear bumper was rechromed to show quality. The car needs to be painted and reassembled. If it doesn't sell by the end of this year I will keep it and eventually restore it.

A picture tells a thousand words. Let's see them, so we know what we are dealing with.

I will try to get some pictures up. It would be better if the car was seen in person.

Here are some pictures of the car. It is buried in my garage that is why I didn't take pictures before. You really can't make out and appreciate all of the work done to the car. The engine was rebuilt, it came with the performance option axle. The floors were sprayed the correct undercoating color. It has a new trunk pan. The doors were reskinned. The car was painted but has to be buffed out and some parts need to be repainted like the hood. The Seats were correctly redone and seat covers were hand made with the original material. It has stainless steel brake lines and the honeycomb wheels were redone. It needs to be put back together. I have a business and have no time to go thru another restoration project. All of the hard work was done to this car. Plus there are thousands of dollars in new parts many NOS that go with the car. The rear bumper was tripple plated show chromed. This is an easy restoration project for a body man. This car could be done for the spring.
