69 Firebird in Indiana at NR $2500. Ad makes a point that they reserve the right to end it early, which often means they will if it doesn't go high enough. It has those valve cover wing nut things I can't stand along with the 350-4 stick... pretty plain Jane.

78 T/A NR $2500 in Alabama. Some pretty serious rot and the engine appears to be there, but I would touch this car with a 29 and a half foot pole.

Interesting Docs.
The car was delivered to Fisher Body for something.
May be interesting in the 64-65 GTO section.

Maybe ordered by an executive in the Fisher organization?

67 400 auto Firebird convert in Texas at $19.5K BIN. Looks to be in pretty good shape with original engine.

68 400/4 speed Firebird convert in Illinois at $6700 NR. No engine/trans/interior. Body looks decent. I personally don't think it matters much that this car started out as a 400 4-speed. It's nice, but without the original drivetrain you could have started with a 350 2bbl car and in the end it would probably worth about the same... maybe not?

Start price does seem a bit high..., but the original color combo sure would be nice: white with teal top and teal deluxe interior.
I'd love to see the PHS to see what else it might have had.

I dunno...paint looks a little rough, underside could use some help..underdash, etc. looks well used. They say no rust anywhere near it but the shots from underneath tell a different story with paint right over rusty exhaust.
Looks like a solid 'driver' and I would be happy to own it... but it's not the 'cherry' they're describing.
It's probably already over what I'd pay for it at nearly $22K and yet, hasn't met reserve...

And now for something completely different, a 1937 Pontiac coupe at NR $5K in Massachusetts. Chebby engine, but a really nice car.

It’s all original, a survivor is what we were told. Never re painted.

Whoever told them to tell you that, they lied.

Definitely a "not so great" repaint
Obvious signs of bodywork on the quarters and wheel lips
Candle-wax run in clear on fender
They did a pretty good job of disclosure on some of the pictured faults.

VIN stamp on engine is missing a few digits (ouch)
They stated #76 heads, but hopefully meant #16
This one would need a real close inspection
A good car if the price was right - but its at "that place" - so not likely to happen.

68 350HO 4-speed garage find in WV at $1500 with a reserve. Supposedly in storage since 1985. No engine pics.

Nice 'bird. I like it. This is a shame though...

Repaint in 1985 and then parked (Overspray from the 1985 repaint on a couple of the tires and some masking tape here and there left on by body shop). Per the original owner: "I had some rust bubbles forming on the rear flares of the quarters and wanted them fixed, the body shop convinced me to put new quarters on it, when I got the car back, it was clear they had put Camaro quarters on it...I was just so disappointed I put it in the garage and forgot about it.''
