I see a couple companies on line that can do this, any of you ever used them, which ones would you recommend?

There may be a paint store or auto body supply house near you that can make custom color spray cans. I had some made years ago for my car and the color matched perfectly. In my case there was a minimum number of cans I had to buy, if I remember correctly the smallest can of paint they would mix up was a quart so however many spray cans that translates to - it was four or six, I think.

I used Kolor Korrect in New Jersey. Excellent customer service. This was for a factory color. Not cheap, but it was worth it to me. The couple of old paint shops I went to had gotten rid of their old paint books and told me to look elsewhere. They may do custom colors too. Worth a call. They are super nice to talk with, even with the Jersey accent!

If your looking to match old paint then finding someplace local that can scan your existing paint is best.
Firstly if it comes out wrong it's easier to return and get the correct shade. (I will usually test it at the store to be sure.)

And second a fair percentage of the old formulas have morphed over the years and today's formula is not the correct color.

Photo shows the 1967 light green #503 code that some suppliers are selling. It is much closer to Detroit Diesel green engine paint. Compare to the original 503 of my Burban in the background.

It’s actually for the chassis, it’s all painted car color so perfect match isn’t a must. Thanks for all the replies.
