Default 1970 gto cruise control

I have a 70 gto that did not originally come with cruise control. How would I add this option and does it have any thing to do with the transmission

The speedo cable would need to be changed to a 2 piece cable to go into the taransducer. Factory wiring, brake light cut off switches, cruise lever, transducer, and vacuum line to transducer.

Drew, send me an e-mail to:

and I'll reply back with a pdf file that will clear it all up for you.

Drew, I forgot to mention that used (and sometimes even brand new NOS) complete cruise control setups show up on e-bay from time-to-time.

IMO, the OEM setup looks MUCH cleaner (and obviously correct) than any aftermarket CC system that might still be available . . .

True, as factory installed, but easy enough to add a couple more switches to the clutch pedal (electrical and vacuum) and make it operate just fine on a stick car.
