Default 65/66 Big Car Clutch Z Bar Frame Bracket

I'm converting my 65 Catalina to a manual trans and need the frame bracket that secures the z bar stud to the frame. Thanks.

Whoever welded that is not a great welder!

I purchased this for my 66, hammered it straight, heated and bent it where I wanted it and will weld it on when the time comes. P.S. I weld exactly like that pic

I have a frame section *for a template) with bracket on it in my attic.
It's not for sale, but I may rent it out!

Steve, I’ve been distracted fighting cancer for the past 3 1/2 years and haven’t been able to do much on my car, or anything else for that matter. I thought I would see if you might still have the template, it would save me a lot of time. You can disregard my request, I’ll moch it up through other methods. Thanks.

If you still need information concerning the exact location of the z bar frame bracket I can take a couple of quality photos from a 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix 4 speed manual donor car which will help you. The location should be the same as for a 1965 Catalina. Take it from me, the exact location of the bracket on the frame is important if you want the clutch pedal height from the floor mat to be correct (which should be about the same location as the brake pedal, about 5 1/4 inches from the floor mat).

That would be great if you can do that. I really appreciate it. Bob
