I made my own template. My concern was not merely the placement of the holes but the drilling angle. I taped up the backside of the replacement emblem and then I used a profile gauge to get the shape. That also located the stud holes at the same time. I then transferred the shape to a piece of cardboard and then cut it out to test fit to the nose. Once I was satisfied with the placement then I drilled a pilot hole and then chased it with the stud diameter and then the larger drill bit for the emblem boss size. Seemed to work pretty well.
