Default Built a front spoiler for the firebird

Thought I'd share a couple pics of the front spoiler I made for my turbocharged firebird. Had the plastic reproduction on it but, apparently, heat and plastic don't coexist very well.😁 Have a little metalwork left to do.

Nice job. You may not want to do this, but I suggest you "split" the spoiler in the middle, add support brackets to each end where you split it. Why? Should you hit something, ie some object or animal in a road you didn't see in time, rather than twisting and taking out the entire spoiler, it may only do damage to 1/2 of it and would be easier to salvage or even replace. Crap happens and it may not be your fault.

Nice. I like the turbo wheels.
I've been looking for a set for my 77 turbo'd car. Even better on yours.

I threw some extras on my 65 GTO when I needed to get it rolling after I put a front disc kit and MC on it(so it would stop when I pulled it on the trailer to move it. Left over from the 81 TA. They need a better polish job . Front still have the ancient leaking 265-50-15s and the back some used 275-60-15s from my 97 truck

Thanks for all the comments, much appreciated. I did consider reinforcing it but figured I'd just bend something else up. Something happens, I can build another spoiler.
Looks good skip. I wasn't sure when I first put them on but they have definitely grown on me.

No bracing. 13 gauge, 2 bends and with the overall shape, it's pretty stiff.
