Are the exhaust valves stock size 1.66 or are they 1.77?

Thanks

Are the valves stock length or are they the longer RA4 length valves. Do you know the installed height?

I bought the heads as built, with plans of installing the springs i wanted to use, so I’m unsure of the installed height. The valves should be stock length from what I was told prior to purchase.

I can get you the installed height measurement but it’ll take me a few days. Although the heads are sitting here ready to ship, 90% of my tools are packed away as we move from one house to the next over the next week or so.

Thx

If the valves are stock length then don't bother getting the installed height

I'm not aware that Ferrea makes stock length valves in the 1-piece stainless (which is what these look like). The 995 spring is designed to be installed at 1.700" which no stock length valve will accommodate, so it's a pretty safe bet that these are longer valves for the taller installed height that will handle upwards of a .600" lift flat tappet cam.

Thanks for that info. It sure sheds some light on what’s in them. I purchased them as they sit now so had no specifics on them other than a general parts list where they mentioned New Ferrea Intake Valves.

I really appreciate your info. Thank you.

Just pulled the valves today. Valve length: 4.980 Installed Height: 1.68 (No shims)

Make an offer on the whole thing or just the bare heads if you’d rather use your own valves/springs. Maybe somebody would be interested in the valves/springs after the heads go.
