Default 31 spline Moser axles for sale...

I have a set of Moser axles for a 9" rear for sale . They are 31 spline with bearings ready to bolt one. Very good condition. I up graded to 35 spline .They are 27 1/8 and 31 1/8 5x4 3/4 2.430. these are small ford bearings with built in seals/ o-ring.. 1/2 X 3" long studs.

$250.00 + shipping.

The axles do have a GM lug bolt pattern....

Im surprised know one is interested in these.. They were bought new from Moser by me and used for just a season and taken off because I up graded to 35spline . I paid 500.00 for them . There good for 800 hp !

That's a good question , I don't know.

I do know the rear came out of a stock 1969 mustang . So what ever the rear would of measured in one of those.

Looks like its 54.1/4 from the back of each backing plate to backing plate. I measured it under the car so it could possibly be a little different then that number. I did post the axles sizes in my first post though. Those numbers should be all you need as long as you know your current axles size.

Why are they different? What size are they 3 1/2 ? Ill measure the axle so you can compare your bearing ID size to the number I get..

The axle measures 1.378 where the bearing gets pressed on.. So what ever bearing you have has to be a few thousandths smaller then that. I don't know off hand what the interference size is. If you call Moser or strange they will know...
