Nice 65 Louie! It does look to be lighter than Montero Red. I had a red 67 Fremont lifetime CA car too and the original paint survived as well. Great car!

It is Nightwatch Blue. Original was Fontaine Blue but the previous owner had it painted back in the late 70's.

beautiful! I have a 65 clone, fontaine blue, and I am pondering that color change, myself. Your pictures assure me it will be a good choice.

Here's my '64 Lemans, it's got a 455, '65 tripower, T-56 6 speed with a 3.55 posi rear. I have Doug's headers on it now, but since Ron finally came through the tri-y's will be going on soon.

Nice! She really needs a set of black plates, though...

New to the forum but have been hanging out here for awhile. Here's mine - been working on it for about 2 years. Still a work in progress.

Default My 64 Lemans Pro Street

Originally a 6 cylinder from factory. Auto on column. Now presently running 454 BBC, Turbo 400, Narrowed Ford rear, 389 gears, tubbed but still has full interior.Quarterstick on floor. Fuel cell, Disc brakes. Weld wheels. Crazy color changing paint (Former owner did it), goes from a purplish Irish Mist looking color to a copper/bronze depending on the light. A blast to drive and gets almost too much attention at times lol.

My '64 Vert LeMans. Has drivetrain from a '67 GOAT:400 with 670 Heads and TH400 Dual Gate Shifter. Am still resisting the urge to clone it, want to keep it as a LeMans.
Rally I rims off a '65 came with the car. I've got a bunch of pieces from other Ponchos; Vacuum Guage, 65 (late) Gauge Cluster Conversion, '65 LeMans Grab Bar, that make it what I want. No GTO hood though (on purpose). Still debating whether to put the gills back on the rear quarters - it looks so nice to keep it "clean". Any opinions?
