I can tell you first hand since we here at The Parts Place are the ones that are reproducing them. I have the prototypes in transit. If any of you will be at the BOP show in Wheaton, Illinois on March 23rd, you will be able to see them first hand and see the high quality of them. Like our 65 69 70 71 72 GTO tail lamp lenses, these will be top of the line and retail for about $109 each.

We just inspected the new lenses. They are very nice quality. They fit as original and the color is right on. My only negative comment is the stainless strips are very sharp on their inside edge. Just be very carefull when cleaning the lenses. Price will be $250/pair.

Will these lenses fit on the LeMans tail light housing?

Sorry Dave, the Lemans housings and lenses are completely different.

I saw these lenses at the GTOAA Nationals. Very nice color and quality.

Be careful of the sharp edges on the stainless trim on each lens. They will cut your finger badly if you wipe across them while washing or drying your car. The stainless does not appear to have been rolled into the lens like the originals were.

Overall a very nice piece and well worth the money as an alternative to NOS or cracked originals.

Doesn't sound like the stainless trim is right. Ought to be fine though, for all the Tempests & LeMans getting "GTO" tailpanels & hoods

Does anyone know if it's possible to use your original stainless trim on these?

I really don't know why you would want to change out the stainless. There is nothing visually wrong with it.

If only my lenses were cracked and the trim was perfect, I would prefer to use the original trim pieces.

I guess you could give it a try in the name of research and design. Drop me a line via email
