That's what I first thought also, wasn't playing close enough attention to tell.

If anyone deserves some accolades -- it's 60man. Way to go.

The show is called "Launch Hour". They have shown 2 different trailers for the same show.... several times this weekend. However, your car is only in one of them. Twisting hard coming out of the hole....a "launch" that is very unique. I am sure that is why they used it to promote the show....

Very Cool!

Yea, if it is the one I am thinking of, the vehicle shown has the left front tire 2.5' off the ground and the r/f is still on the ground. Severly twisted

That car in those speed channel promos races at great lakes dragaway in Union Grove Wisconsin, that's where they shot the first pilot episodes for the new shows from the pinks gang.

I posted a thread here a while back about that "pilot" being shot at GLD,that was a couple of days before they were shooting that show there.

I know quite a few people that were there for the "new" show taping, talked to them about that when I visited there a week or so after the taping, was in town for the hot rod powertour stop and was visiting folks.

That car is well known in that area.

The car is indeed a '60 chevy troy.

There are a few pics of it on the GLD website, also saved one on my drive for giggles.

My friends up there that know the car well say he intentionally launches it out of shape like that because the crowd goes ape$#!t every time he launches.

Here's a pic of the car in the promo,if you look quick you'll also see that the track is great lakes as the tower and billboards are easy to make out in the background.

He to suffers from the X-frame syndrom...
A friend of mines son runs a 62 409(?) Cheby and it launches all out of shape to.
But like said.....the crowd loves it...Super Chevy pays him to show as it is....
He now runs it on a limited basis since he bought a ProMod 'Vette.
This pic is a "mild" launch. He has twisted it so bad he popped the rear glass out !!

I have watched that car run at Super Chevy in Bristol a couple of times. Neat car.
