Gary

I'm considering the same radiator for my 68 bird. How did it fit? Did you have to modify the stock shroud? Except for it not being black, does it look close to stock once it's installed?

Thanks,
Rick

I purchased a rodney red radiator last year for my 66 GTO. It fit perfectly and has lowered the temp about 10 to 15 deg. With the old radiator it would go to 220 F at idle, now it stays around 190 t0 195. I would recommend Rodney Red.

i received my rad today. wow what a nice lookin peice! measures up perfectly. cant wait to get motor back in so i can install it. i had mine fully polished also. im thinkin of deleting stock fan and fabricating a electric fan to the shroud.

Doug. A complete set-up out of a Ford (SORRY) Windstar van fits almost perfectly. You have the option of one or two fans at the same time for hot days. I can e-mail pics of the set-up with Bosch relays to make it work. Ron

Rodney Red is an excellent choice. I have (had) one in my 69 and it fit perfectly plus the workmanship is excellent. Jerry Wirth makes a great product and he's an all-around good guy.

Is there a bone yard set-up, with electric fans, that'll fit in the first Gen Firebirds, that will cool 550hp?
Dave.
