The PHS shows it as a true RA IV GTO.

Really nice, clean looking Pontiac race car. Hope it does well in Hemmings auction. A real Ram air IV race car would make a true Pontiac lover very happy.

That’s awesome. .
Nice combo for a race car IMO

Those cars are so super clean too. But a drag car and get RAIV heritage to boot. Might be a hard resto but anything is possible if you really chose to .

Very clean car! Too bad they back-halved it, but I get it. That is the norm with drag cars

I saw Johns daughter pull the wheels at least 100ft at Pacific Raceways in that 69 Firebird.

The market will dictate what it sells for. Hard to say with such a car. It was special when it was built, and now it's a race car with history. Also special. Some folks like one more than the other and vise-versa.

Other than the vinyl top when it was new--
This was THE baddest 69 GTO built in 1969

I'd rather have it in stock configuration.
But its probably locked into being a track car forever.
150k+ car if it were totally restored as factory

It doesn't show bidding anymore , has a $110,000 asking price.
