1972 TA original exhaust tips?
Noticed a part number on the chrome exhaust tips on my 1972 TA and wondering if they could be original or GM service replacements? Part number reads GM481525FT. The number is on the outside of the driver side tip and the inside of the passenger side tip. Any info is appreciated, thanks, Tom

NS 481525 is what is stamped on the necked down ends of the NOS tips I bought late 80's new through local dealer. Somewhere, boxed up, in the shop have the original drivers side tip off my late '72 build's original exhaust. Will keep an eye out for it.

I have come to understand that the ones stamped with the part number on the outside are service replacements.
