Where does the female end of the seatbelt assembly attach. Is it below the center console (automatic) but on the hump, or on the floor.

Also, is the female strap two separate units for the shoulder harness, or one buckle.

Anyone have a decent photo, drawing, diagram of where to attach the female (inboard side) straps?

Thanks,
Ken

Welcome aboard Ken, happy to have another '70 fanatic.

My car has the shoulder harness and it's supposed to have 2 female sides per seat to accomodate the shoulder harness.

There is a big square nut welded to the bottom of the floor (as in facing the road, not interior of car) the anchor bolt attaches to.

If you look at the bottom of the car you'll see these nuts about 1/2 way up the tunnel.

I think the seat has to come out to get to it.

Actually, try sliding the seat all the way forward first and get look at it from the back seat.
