I know a TA is heavier than a Firebird and mine was a 6cyl manual from factory but mine stock weighed 3700'ish without me (that was with 400ci and th400 in it). Just surprised you feel the 74 is heaviest. They are all way heavier than they should have been lol.

Iron IA block Eheads TH400 rollcage only a little front bumper support bracketry '79 Camaro 3575 with me in it.
Both with subframe connectors.
