Don't think the date is finalized yet but i can let you know.

If you dont think your car is ready for prime time, just show up and enjoy the show. There is an access road behind the event where your car can be viewed.

Part of your problem with low-power is your altitude. With that altitude, there is not as much oxygen in the air, and you flat-out can't make as much power (unless you have a turbocharger).

The other part of your problem is your altitude :-) virtually all the "out of the box" carburetors you can buy will be calibrated to run a little rich, as that is "safer" than running lean. With the diminished oxygen at your altitude, the "a little rich" calibration becomes "REALLY rich."

I'd suggest spending a few hundred of your "money to spend" on an Innovate or other quality wide-band oxygen sensor. With that, you can SEE what your air-fuel ratio is, and then make adjustments to the carburetor. The cool thing about these sensors, is that it is a tool, and you can use it on other vehicles as well.

Angry SO>>>IT BEGINS>>>>!!!!!!!! HELLLL!!!!!LMAO

Alright guys well i got all my premium parts in for my front end and steering i'll have pics in the next few days or so.me and my wife got it all toreout today man i got to tell you that is the biggest pain in the A>>>>> so i do have a question when i was getting off the sway bar. The bolts had like a sleeve that had like a cap that went through the frame they just kept spinning so i had to shear the bolt off with a air hammer totally destroyed that sleeve.....so i was thinking i might have to drill it out and re-thread it to a shave larger
whats your thought's guy's....

are you talking about the sway bar end links that bolt to the controls arms? If so you don't have to worry about saving any of that stuff. Its not in threaded holes in the frame or anything theres a nut underneath. Just cut or tear it out any way you can it all gets replaced with new parts and its cheap. Did it look like this picture?

A Q-jet off a 76 pontiac. Its set up close to Mr. Cliffs #2 recipe and a touch on the lean side.
Shoot me and email so i can send the info when it comes available.

hmm, its the sleeves you mention that threw me off. Never seen anything like that on the sway bar bracket bolts. Also never seen allen headed bolts holding on a sway bar. Maybe its an aftermarket setup? maybe you could post up a pic

I think you'll like the LM-2. Use it while driving around, and see what ratios you have. Get a log book, and record what the ratios at idle, cruise and WOT. As you make tuning changes, record every change you make and what differences in performance you realize. You'll have to invest several bucks in tuning supplies (jets/springs/metering rods, depending upon what carb you have), but watch eBay for people selling such things. Keep tweaking until you find the ratios your motor likes best (don't get hung up on "theoretical" values, use what works best).

Have fun :-)

The full weight of the car should be on the wheels before tightening the control arm thru bolts and nuts. If not, they will be in a twist when loaded. This can effect ride height and lead to early Bushing failure.
