Had a rather severe TBI myself 35 years ago. I survived it but they definitely play hell with your brain function. Mine completely changed my personality from “easy going” to constantly looking for a fight. It took years of therapy and counseling to help me get back to a more normal state of mind.

I still go to VA for yearly physical, they bill my regular insurance which is fine by me. Every penny that goes to the VA system is fine by me. Veterans should be getting the best care out there, sadly it rarely happens.
I recently read an article that the current Kevlar helmets are not much better than WW1 helmets when it comes to concussive effects from incoming large ordinance. So TBI is nothing to mess with and good luck with your ongoing recovery.

Well I am coherent again. It only took me 4 days.
I still don’t have all my words it routes a lot until I find the right word and my motor skill are still **** but the tromljse they will remmap in my brain so we will see. Just wanted y’all to see I I’m not dead

Well I’ve had a backslide. I get lostT coming home. I have lost half of the car knowledge I had but I’m falling dr tell ms it’s normal. We will see
