Default Steering joint contact

My steering joint on my '64 GTO contacts my Doug's headers. Not too bad but can be felt through the steering wheel at times. What are some solutions to this? The headers already have an indentation at that spot but not enough. Is there a universal joint that can be installed?

You could remove the rag joint and install a universal joint or you could just dent it some more.

The bolts thru the motor mounts allow for some movement of the engine. If you loosen the two mounting bolts, you can pry the engine away from the steering box. A jack under the pan helps with this, but be sure to use a flat board to avoid damaging the oil pan.
