The "12 bolt rear 56 inches between the backing plates, 4.10 gears, spool, c clip eliminators ,strange axles 35 spline, 1350 yoke, back brace, brakes and drums, 1,200." could be perfect for a 61-63! I used a 57" and it worked good! John

Good catch. I never caught that part. I was too fixated on that nice rolling shell for $2000.00. I just don't have any room left for any more cars right now.

The other thread is "Found this for sale - not mine."
Or does the craigslist ad you linked belong to you? It didn't come off that way. |

1963 326 Heads
I have a used set of 63 heads from my 326. The block is cracked so I had to go to plan B. The machine shop removed the valves before the crack was found. I believe that is all they did. Plan B is a 326 HO with the larger heads (that cost me more to rebuild) but should be worth it.
These things are HEAVY, 49 lbs each. shipping costs whatever they are. $100 for the set of heads. Thanks |

I don't know how I missed that in this section. No, it is not mine. Although I wish I had room for it.

Is there any interest in this? It is from a '63 with a 326 2 barrel. I was about to toss the mesh filter but thought maybe someone would want it. Make me an offer with or without the filter. PM me.

That mesh filter looks like the one original to my '52 GMC six cylinder engine. Instructions were "every 1000 miles, clean it by dipping in gasoline, then dip in clean oil and allow it to drip off before re-installing". I doubt this filter was original to anything newer than '55 or so.
