Default '66-'69 lemans, tempest, or gto

i need a second car to drive around while i do some major rust repair on my wagon, so here's what i'm looking for.

first off, the car must be within 500 miles of orlando, florida, zip code 32810; the closer, the better. the car must be complete, but does not have to have an engine or transmission. i have a pontiac 400 out of a '72 grand prix that i can rebuild, and i know of a good transmission shop close by, so those are the last 2 things i'm worried about. what i'm concerned with is things that would prevent it from being street legal and roadworthy such as no interior, missing bumpers, rust that affects the car's structural integrity to the point that it's not usable as a daily driver, and things like that. as long as the car is complete and ready to use as a daily driver once an engine and transmission are installed(or existing ones are rebuilt), it'll be worthy of my money.

a list of cars i'm looking for:
'66-'69 lemans, tempest, or gto
'69-'72 grand prix
'67-'76 firebirds(later models must be pontiac powered, no olds or chevy engines)

i would much prefer a 2-door hardtop or coupe, whether it has a bench or buckets does not matter. at the moment, i have less than $2,000, but i am still saving up my money. i am also looking locally, so if i find a decent car close by i'll remove this want ad.

Don't know if you would be interested but i have 66 Tempest 1 owner car all original. Seats aren't that great and it needs a trunk pan and gas tank. Needs a little work on the front and rear glass. Rusty and leaks at the trunk. It even has a brand new gasket kit in the seat with oil filter, points, plugs and condenser. I live in Birmingham Alabama actually about 60 miles north or Montgomery. Pics are on the Tempest GTO Lemans Tech link asking $3k for it since it is very restorable but would be willing to deal on the price. It is a Tempest Hardtop complete chrome bumpers and all and wouldn't take anything really to get it running again. Needs carpet and headliner but tranny is good. The owner took the heads off because it used oil when it started up (valve seals). Just needs a good hone and rebuild but if i build it i'll punch it .30 since it does have a bit of a ridge in the cylinders. If you are interested give me a call Terry 205-668-2973 I would love to restore it but just don't have the room. It is all numbers and code matching car.
