There's a good classified ad section right here on the board.

I'm in the same boat. I listed my TA here and on transamcountry.com. No luck but my car is probably not going to draw much interest on these forums since I'm asking over $40K for it. I'm leaning towards an auction, either Hemmings or BringATrailer. I won't list anything on Ebay or Craigslist anymore. Too many scammers and no-shows wasting my time. I considered Facebook marketplace but I have no experience there and I suspect they'd be as bad as Craigslist.

I just had car appraised so I will list it on performance years first. I just have to write up basic info and maybe provide a link for more detail. What do you guys need to see in the add?

I think it depends on the price range of the car. I just sold 2 cars on Facebook market place. They were both cheap cars, 2001 Acura that needed work, and a 69 Lemans project car. It was a feeding frenzy! I had 20-30 messages in the first couple hours. I sold the Lemans to the first guy that reply, so basically it took me 10 min to sell that car. There are a lot of low ballers and tire kickers. But it was pretty easy to weed through the losers because interested people would actually ask questions instead of FB quick responses, which I hate. I've been buying and selling on FB market place and Craigslist. But again I think it depends on the price range of the car, maybe 20-25k or less.

Sorry. I didn't know it was me he was asking. Yes, my car started life as a 74 SD car. Original owner toasted the engine. It was a rust bucket when I found it but it had a vinyl top and I knew that was rare. It was the 90's and I was poor. So I built it to suit me, not the purists. I've never regretted it. I've done everything from Power Tour, drag racing, car shows and autocross in it. But I just finished a restoration of the body with fresh paint and promised the wife I'd quit beating the **** out of it. So I purchased an 1994 25th anniversary car that I've wanted since I saw one on the showroom floor in 1994 and now I'm abusing it instead. So I'm selling the 74.
