Some pics of a 68 Arlington built GTO.

Looks like there was a lot of variability ... I'm guessing every guy on the line had his own style. It's also probably one of those things that varied tremendously on who got drunk the night before, who's having a fight with his wife, or who doesn't feel he gets paid enough

Heres a few of mine. You may have to zoom in on the lower door sections.

Thanks for all the replies. Helps a lot. Looks like the cowl lip gets black caulk. The seam from the cowl to the dash on both sides gets black caulk as well? I have both body seam sealer (tan), and a black urethane type to use. Last question. Where the dash meets the cowl, what type of caulk goes in there? Do the three tabs get caulk filled underneath them? I attached a photo to show area.

For the trunk I found some photos of other GTOs I have owned and have a good enough sense to what type if caulk and where it should go, inside the trunk and the lip in the back. Only question is the top corner seams, in the trunk lip channel where the corner meets diagonally. Guess is it is body seam sealer (tan).

Got it in Semi-gloss (60 degree black). Thanks again PY Forums.

PPG DP40 or DP50 epoxy sealer. I had blasted the whole car shot it in DP. Seam sealed it. Scuffed it with a Scrotchbrite. Painted right on top of it. Finishing scuffing interior to paint tomorrow.
