Ralph asked for an e-mail address so that he could send the tracking information when the stripes shipped. As I haven't received the tracking number yet, I'm assuming they haven't been shipped yet.

Has anyone gotten the tracking number e-mail?

My stripes arrived today! Cant really see the color/detail because of the film that is over them. Cant wait to install them but that will be several weeks or more from now.

Default No stripes available

Howdy
I received my white car stripes yesterday and as I won’t be installing them for awhile, I didn’t remove them from the shipping box. I was wondering if anyone has compared the to an original set?

My stripe kit arrived today. I’m leaving them packed up for later use. If anyone opens theirs, please post a picture. I’d like to see the difference (if any) between these and NOS stripes.

These are the most accurate stripes ever produced. That’s why this is such a great thing. Forget comparisons and rest assured these are the best. I’m sure someone can find the original thread when Greg came up with this design and had them produced.

I’m in a similar spot as others as I don’t need mine until some undetermined date in the future.

For those of us in that spot, it would be great if someone that needs to use theirs soon can verify that they are what was expected. The phrase back in the day was trust but verify.

So without reading the whole thread, are these stripes coming from Greg or S&S. I had a customer get a set from S&S and we received everything last year but the hood stripe but it came in a couple weeks ago. i installed them and the car is gone. Like a dummy i didnt compare them to the NOS ones we have in the box.

My newest stripes came from S&S. In talking with Ralph from S&S, though, it sounds like they actually farmed this work out to someone else?

I have unrolled the entire kit onto a spare table where it sits until I'm ready. For those with a 1971/72 there is no hood scoop badges. So expect to source any 455 H.O. from somewhere. I already had some NOS ones so I've got mine sorted (hopefully) but something to be aware of. At least that was the case for me. Part number for those is 484324. for a white car with blue scoop.

I held each stripe up to a bright light and could see the dot pattern seemed to fade beautifully with no seam at the corners and the color looks great from what I can tell. The edges seem to be cut very straight with a consistent border all the way around.

My car is completely painted so I'm ready to install them once we get a bit warmer weather.

Interesting on the no availability of the 455 HO decals. I know that when I bought a set of stripes from Greg and even individual pieces from Ralph last year I was able to get the separate 455HO decals. They were very close but not quite dead on so I sourced out some NOS ones as well.
Any other source that I’ve seen for the 455 HO decals used on the GTO or Trans Am were not even close. Way too thin compared to the originals and compared to the ones that Greg was doing and the ones that I had gotten from Ralph last year.
