Default Column Shift 1970 TA shows up again

Looks like RK Motors picked up this car and wants $69,900.

Grab bar shouldn't be there with standard interior.

The more I see this car, the more I like the interior color. Not better than say, black, or blue. But it really is a stand out in the field, where blue and black rule. If it was a floor shift it would be home run time.

Not knocking the car. Admiring it and seeing a few things. I do have a question though. Not an expert here. Is that the correct Pontiac dust cover under the Automatic Bell Housing for a '70 THM-400?
Never saw one like that. It looks plastic. Just want to learn.

That is the general consensus, however, my 1970 T/A with the blue standard interior has the dash with the handle. I would bet every penny I have it is original to the car.

I'm answering my own question. Couldn't let it go. It is plastic. I admit it beats running around without one at all. It's new aftermarket. here's one on eBay...

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1965-1979-P...cAAOSwvLteW9~2

thought I would show it. You can get a real one for $45.00 @ Franks. or heck even eBay has listings for them.

Later 2nd Gens with Turbo 350's all had a plastic flex plate covers. Believe early T350's used a metal cover. All the metal covers here came off late 60's-early 70's T400's.

That's really a plain jane model. Not even a tinted windshield originally.

IMHO, there's a lot of quibbles there for $70 large.

Black goes with anything, but it also hides a lot of sins, I'd prefer tan. Blue, you have to keep telling yourself it was another era when distasteful was in.

The rear interior panels, like many using NOS pieces, appear to be that dark blue plastic.
